The Elthorne 1st Co-Op offers a Lumber Storage facility to its residents. If you wish to dispose of Lumber you should make contact with the Co-Op office or alternatively Scott the Caretaker who will explain where the Lumber should be positioned in order for the Caretaker to place it in the Lumber store awaiting collection by London Borough of Islington. If you require assistance with getting the lumber item to the Lumber Store you should request assistance from the Co-Op office.
Household Refuse should be disposed of in the following way depending on where you live on the Co-Op:
Partington Close – For those residents living in Partington Close the bin store is situated at the foot of block 24 – 44 Partington Close. For residents living in the block household refuse should be disposed of via the chute room. For larger items of household refuse or bags too big to fit down the chute the bin room is kept locked for the most part but all residents are issued with keys. In addition Scott, our caretaker leaves the room unlocked each Wednesday to allow for the paladin bins to be emptied. If a key for the bin room is required you should make contact with the Co-Op office Tel No. 0207 263 5756
St. John’s Way, Mulkern Road & Duncombe Road – For those residents living in the blocks on St. John’s Way and Mulkern Road household rubbish should be disposed of via the chute room situated in each of these blocks. If you do not live in one of the blocks or your entrance is situated on the street, or you live in one of the Duncombe Road blocks the Green Eurobins dotted along the Duncombe Road walkway (this runs to the rear of St. John’s Way blocks) is where you should dispose of your refuse. These bins are emptied every Monday.
All recycling materials should be placed in the Black bins that can be found on the Duncombe Road walkway and in Partington Close next to the Green. Collection of all Recycled materials takes place on Tuesdays.
